Bio: Legends through the kingdom of Gallowmere tell the tale of Sir Daniel Fortesque, the brave, noble warrior that valiantly led the charge against the evil sorcerer, Zarok, dying in an epic final battle to save his country. The truth of the matter is that Sir Daniel was an incompetent, bumbling coward that only had his position because he was able to make the king laugh, and when the battle began, he was very promptly killed when the very first arrow fired pierced him through the eye. But when Zarok arrived again and accidentally revived Sir Daniel in his second attempt at domination, Sir Daniel would get the second chance he desired to prove that he truly was the hero the legends said he was.

Playstyle: Sir Daniel is a tank. He takes hits and soaks up damage like a sponge while having excellent defense thanks to his large shield. He also has a good range game, both long and mid, as well as some surprisingly powerful attacks, though his stronger moves do have a bit of windup and his speed is fairly low.
Normals:
Standing Light Punch: Swings his sword diagonally downward
Standing Medium Punch: Holds his sword out and spins his entire torso around

Standing Heavy Punch: Hops forward slightly while swinging his sword down in a powerful arc
Standing Light Kick: Kicks the opponent in the shin
Standing Medium Kick: Does a quick bash forward with his shield
Standing Heavy Kick: Swings his shield wide in a backhand

Crouching Light Kick: Swings his heel into the opponent's leg
Crouching Medium Kick: Bashes his shield forward
Crouching Heavy Kick: Windmills his arm to swing his shield into an uppercut
Special Attacks:
-Longbow: Sir Dan pulls out his longbow and uses it for a different purpose depending on the button used in the input:
--Light: Fires a single arrow in an arch
--Medium: Fires a flaming arrow forward
--Heavy: Fires a magically charged arrow that takes more time to fire, but is much more powerful than the other two
-Warhammer: Sir Dan pulls out his Warhammer and strikes in one of three ways:
--Light: Does a horizontal swing to knock the foe away
--Medium: Swings straight upward to launch the foe
--Heavy: Slams it onto the ground to either floor the foe on successful impact or create a shockwave on the ground that staggers them
-Ranged Weaponry: Sir Dan will perform a different attack depending on the button used in the combo:
--Light: Fires projectiles from a semi-spammable crossbow
--Medium: Throws a spear forward
--Heavy: Throws a battle axe that boomerangs back to him to hit twice
-Stormbringer Lightning: Sir Daniel fires a blast of lightning straight forward from his palm to act as a quick mid-range projectile
-Daring Dash: Sir Dan dashes forward with his shield held outwards to tackle the opponent, able to run right through projectiles as he moves
Throws:
Forward: Sir Dan winds up his mallet like a golf club and swings it to launch the foe away
Backward: Sir Dan turns around to chuck the foe behind him
Super Moves:
-Lightning Blast: Sir Dan aims his hand up in the air and causes a powerful bolt of lightning to rain down on the opponent's current location, doing large damage and breaking their guard
-Golden Chalice: Sir Dan lifts up the Golden Chalice, releasing several souls that fly at the opponent, homing in on them and flying through them to hit repeatedly
-Magic Sword: Sir Dan equips the Magic Sword, then dashes forward to slash the foe with it. If it hits, the foe is knocked into a graveyard, and then bombarded by a ton of sword attacks from Dan: Spin slashes, wild slashes, stabs, before ending it by thrusting his sword into the foe, launching them back to the battlefield
Fatalities:
-The Beginning of My End: Sir Daniel charges an arrow with magic energy, then fires at the opponent, causing it to pierce clean through their eye. The foe screams and reaches up in an effort to pull the arrow out... But the arrows erupt with magical energy, causing the foe to explode into pieces, their head hitting the ground to reveal the empty socket where their eye once was.
-A Roast to my Win: Sir Daniel pulls out a chicken drumstick, looks at it with a tilted head, shrugs and then hurls it at the opponent with all his might. Once the drumstick touches them, it immediately turns them into a roasted chicken. Sir Daniel grabs them off the ground and cheers as he holds it aloft before a zombie shoves him aside, then grabs the chicken when he drops it and walks off, biting into it as Sir Dan glares in annoyance.
Friendship: Proven His Worth
Sir Daniel puts his hands on his hips, nods firmly, then cheerfully walks offscreen with a spring in his step. The scene cuts to Sir Dan sitting at a table in the hall of heroes, enjoying a large feast with the rest of the deceased heroes, clearly overjoyed at finally having earned his place among them.
Intro: Sir Dan steps forward, pops his head off of his neck, tips it like a hat, puts it back on and lets out a chuckle.
Outro: Sir Dan puts his foot upon a gravestone and poses with his sword and shield triumphantly
