Summary:
Responsible for opening and closing duties and providing accurate and speedy snack and beverage service to golfers. Will be responsible for maintaining a clean and well stocked cart of snack foods and beverages. Job Duties:
- Drives food and beverage cart around golf course.
- Takes orders from guests.
- Receives payment from guests.
- Distributes appropriate change.
- Serves food and drinks utilizing appropriate food/drink handling techniques. Checks IDs of guests purchasing alcoholic beverages. Uses TIPs certification practices for alcoholic beverage service.
- Responds to any safety situation in accordance with policies and procedures.
- Promptly reports any concerns to management. This includes unruly people demonstrating questionable behavior.
- Performs other tasks or projects as assigned by management.
- Maintains a professional demeanor at all times to everyone.
- Embodies mission, vision and values of the department.
Minimum Qualifications / Other Expectations:
- Must be 21
years of age - High school or equivalent
- Reading, writing and oral proficiency in the English language
- Basic math skills
- Minimum two years of experience in food and beverage
- Must be able to work independently in a fast paced, outdoor environment
- Ability to handle one-on-one guest interaction
