Seeking a Medical Assistant in Westchester County!Job DescriptionJoin our dedicated team and provide comprehensive primary, preventative, and behavioral health services to all. As a Federally Qualified, Non-Profit Health Center serving communities in New York, we prioritize care for the underserved and vulnerable. In this role, you will be responsible for cleaning and prepping exam rooms, patient charting, answering calls, scheduling appointments, and triaging calls. You may also be required to assist in various specialties, including Behavioral Health, Pediatrics, Podiatry, Women and Infant Care, and Urgent Care, depending on the needs of the office.
Qualifications Needed:
MA Diploma or Certification
Up-to-date BLS Certification from AHA, ARC, or National CPR Association
Adaptability to work in various specialties
Strong communication skills
CMA/RMA certification highly preferred
Bilingual is a huge plus
Job TypeThis is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 6 Month(s).
Work SiteThis is a fully on-site position in Yonkers, New York.
Work EnvironmentMulti-specialty setting with a schedule of Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm
